100% Carbon-Free & Renewable Energy

Proud participant in the Snohomish County Public Utility District Carbon Solutions Program. All electrical power needs are now being met through 100% carbon-free and 100% renewable sources.

100% Carbon-Neutral Emissions

All of our emissions associated with natural gas usage have been 100% offset by Cascade Coffee’s participation in Puget Sound Energy’s Carbon Balance program, as well as our purchase of a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer.

100% Recycled Chaff

All of our coffee chaff, which is the dried skin of the coffee bean, is provided to local compost manufacturers to be completely recycled into nutrient-rich compost. Ensuring that every part of the bean is used.

Emissions associated with natural gas usage of nearly 500,000 therms per year have been 100% offset by Cascade’s participation in Puget Sound Energy’s Carbon Balance program and the company purchase of a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer which neutralizes 99% of the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) turning them and other harmful pollutants into harmless inert byproducts (water vapor, heat).

Do you have your own Cascade brand of coffee?

At Cascade Coffee we do not compete with our customers. This means we do not and will never have our own branded line of coffee.
